Cal Stuart
On the 7th January 2021, at 8.45pm – Cal Stuart made the hardest of decisions to ‘tap out’ of this physical plain to find peace and solace from his depression, mental pain and sense of hopelessness in an increasingly chaotic world.
Cal was and is a bright and dancing spirit; a soul full of warmth, kindness and compassion for others. His smile lifted the spirit of each and every person who was fortunate enough to meet him.
Cal’s life was one of creativity, art, music, design and a deep commitment to social justice and fairness for all in society.
The loss of Cal and others before him has catalyzed the need to establish The Calzy Foundation. For young people suffering trauma or crisis in their mental health – our objective is simple – for them to rise up with confidence to say:
‘Today is going to be okay – tomorrow now seems possible’.

Cal was an advocate for social change and social fairness. Cal believed that this country’s homeless crisis was about more than just providing a person with four walls. He believed it was about re-encouraging an individual’s sense of value, worthiness, security, providing friendship and creating a home. Cal would never walk past someone sleeping rough on the street, he would sit down, start a conversation and ensure that person felt heard and seen. In his words ‘Help to make them feel part of this world’.
This aspiration and need to help inspired him to start to build a brand, a clothing line where profits go to supporting those in need and reducing the homeless crisis. All designs are by or inspired by our beautiful Cal, put together through love and magic by his close friends and family.
Calzy Vision donates 50% of profits from the sale of clothes to support the work of CRISIS.
